The Emperor's New Clothes

The Emperor's New Clothes is a story by Hans Christian Anderson. Our musical is the fairytale story of a good natured king who loves having the latest style of clothes. A Pair of evil brothers arrives on the scene and convinces the king that they can create an outfit out of material so fine that only the wisest can see it. Once the king gets his new garment he has a royal parade to show it off. The town is stunned to see the king parading in his long john underwear! The king learns a valuable lesson and decides he really doesn't need quite so many material things and the kingdom lives happily ever after.
